William F. Pickard, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO

William F. Pickard, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO has been a successful businessman in the metropolitan Detroit area for more than 25 years. He firmly believes that the “key to our business success is people”.

Dr. Pickard earned his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University. He completed his Masters Degree at the University of Michigan and earned his Bachelors Degree at Western Michigan University.

Dr. Pickard is committed to the community and civic involvement and serves on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations. In addition to serving as VITEC’s Chairman and CEO, he serves as the Chairman and CEO of Global Automotive Alliance, LLC. which operates plants (automotive suppliers) in Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Canada, employing approximately 2,000 people.

 

Dr. Lawrence Crawford

Dr. Lawrence D. Crawford, a VITEC Board Member is President and Chief Executive Officer of DBM Technologies, an automotive supplier of blow molded plastic products and assemblies. This $70 million company has six manufacturing locations throughout the Midwest and employs more than 500 people.

Dr. Crawford is a past chairman of Delta Dental Plan of Michigan and has served on the Delta Dental Board of Directors since 1989.

Dr. Crawford along with Dr. William F. Pickard, VITEC Chairman and CEO is a founding partner of VITEC.

 

Joseph MacNeil

Joseph MacNeil serves on VITEC’s Board of Directors. Mr. MacNeil is Vice President of Finance for VITEC’s joint venture partner, TI Automotive in Warren, Michigan. Mr. MacNeil is a graduate of Glasgow University in Scotland where he earned his degree in Chartered Accountancy.
