VITEC designs and manufactures plastic fuel tanks with state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software, thus minimizing the overall product development time and cost from initial design concept to mass production.

Plastic fuel tanks are 20-30% lighter than conventional steel tanks. Thanks to their design flexibility, they can be manufactured to accommodate complex shapes in order to effectively utilize the vehicle’s available space, maximizing fuel tank capacity and vehicle driving range. In addition, the corrosion and impact resistance of a plastic fuel tank is far superior to its steel based counterpart.
