VITEC occupies a 147,000 square foot facility located in Detroit’s Empowerment Zone. VITEC was formed to promote industrial growth and provide job opportunities in the City of Detroit. VITEC is dedicated to supporting programs that strengthen our community. The Company proudly participates in a number of community, business, civic and outreach efforts such as the American Cancer Society, Booker T. Washington Business Association, the Detroit Urban League, American Diabetes Association, NABAS, Southwest Detroit Business Association, Vista Maria, NAACP, MMBDC and others.

VITEC is committed to scholarship and youth education and has provided summer internship opportunities for college students since its inception. VITEC is an active participant of the YMCA Minority Achievers Program and a past participant of Junior Achievement. In 2005, VITEC will be among the many companies participating in President Jimmy Carter’s Work Project 2005 – Habitat for Humanity.
