James (Jim) Squatrito, President of VITEC

Jim joined VITEC as President on April 4, 2005. In his role at VITEC, Jim has been charged with the implementation of a strategic vision and change agent based on business growth, financial performance, and culture change. Jim reports to William (Bill) Pickard, VITEC’s Chairman and CEO.

Jim has over twenty (20) years of experience in the automotive industry including experience with TRW, Avery Dennison, and Inergy Automotive Systems. During his tenure with TRW from 1982 until 1999, Jim worked with the automotive electronics business, a $600 million electronics and electro-mechanical assembly business with over 3,500 employees at six locations in the U. S. and Mexico. He held positions as General Manager and Operations Director at the Marshall, IL facility, and also as Director of Operations responsible for all of the North American facilities. During one of his assignments as Director of Operations Planning at TRW, Jim relocated to Germany to work for TRW Messmer GmbH in Radolfzell, where he established a structure for standardizing technology and manufacturing practices.

While employed at Avery Dennison Corporation in Pasadena, California, Jim held the position as Vice President, Manufacturing and Engineering, where he led a global team of forty-five (45) supply chain, marketing and technology professionals to implement change strategies.

Most recently Jim held the position as President and CEO, North America of Inergy Automotive Systems, a $600 million automotive supplier. At Inergy, he served as the change agent which led a team of twenty-five (25) professionals in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to operational and functional excellence.

Jim obtained his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University in Villanova Pennsylvania. He earned his masters degree in business administration from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park Pennsylvania.
